Annett Barth

Business lawyer and entrepreneur Annett Barth supports the supporting association and acts as spokesperson for the board.

 

Dr. Gerd Stiehler

Dr. Gerd Stiehler studied school music and German language and literature at the Zwickau University of Education. He worked as a subject teacher for music and German as well as in the special classes for music education at the EOS "Käthe Kollwitz" Zwickau from 1979 to 1986. After a scientific aspirancy, he received his doctorate in 1986 as Dr. paedagogiae. In 1991 he was awarded the facultas docendi for music education/didactics.From 1986 to 1997 Gerd Stiehler worked in teacher training at the PH Zwickau and the TU Chemnitz. From 1996 to 2003 he held a teaching position for music education and psychology at the "Carl-Maria von Weber" College of Music in Dresden. In 1999/2000 he was acting head of the Institute for Music Education at the University of Leipzig. Since 1998 he has been working for the European Grammar School Waldenburg. He has written numerous books and essays on music education issues, including since 1986 as author of music textbooks for the publishers Volk und Wissen and Cornelsen, and is active in teacher training.

 

Bernd Pohlers

As Mayor of Waldenburg, Mr Bernd Pohlers supports the interests of the associations not only at Waldenburg level, but also acts as a link to all the municipalities in which our facilities are located.

Astrid Sander

Astrid Sander is the owner of a farm and an honorary pastor. She has a vivid interest in the welfare of the institutions belonging to the supporting association.
